Kort beskrivning:

C276 Nickellegeringsrör. HASTELLOY C-276 är en nickel-krom-molybdenlegering med universell korrosionsbeständighet som inte matchas av någon annan legering. Den har enastående motståndskraft mot en mängd olika kemiska processmiljöer, inklusive järn- och kopparklorider, heta förorenade mineralsyror, lösningsmedel, klor och klorförorenade (både organiska och oorganiska), torrt klor, myrsyra och ättiksyra, ättiksyraanhydrid, havsvatten och saltlösningar samt hypoklorit- och klordioxidlösningar. Hastelloy C-276 motstår också bildandet av korngränsutfällningar i den värmepåverkade zonen för svetsen, vilket gör den användbar för de flesta kemiska processer i svetsat tillstånd. Den har utmärkt motståndskraft mot punktering och spänningskorrosion.
